Kevin Durant lists 5 schools he would have considered if he didn't choose Texas

Kevin Durant was a star in his lone college season.

As a Texas Longhorn, Durant played every game of the 2006-07 season, averaging 25.8 points (first in the Big 12 and fourth-best in the nation), 11.1 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.9 blocks.

While Texas didn't enjoy much success in the NCAA tournament, getting ousted in the Round of 32 by USC, Durant went on to become the No. 2 overall selection in the NBA draft.

On Wednesday, he revealed the five schools he would have considered had he not ended up a Longhorn.

Durant also tweeted that he chose Texas over Duke because he wanted to set his own path.

North Carolina earned a No. 1 seed in the tournament that year, and it's scary to think what that team would have looked like with Durant joining Ty Lawson, Tyler Hansbrough, and Brandan Wright.
