Los Angeles Lakers small forward Wesley Johnson will not return to Sunday's game against the Dallas Mavericks after suffering a left ankle sprain shortly before halftime.
Johnson, who was leading all scorers with 16 points, stepped on Mavs center Tyson Chandler's foot and subsequently limped off the court to the locker room.
X-rays on Johnson's left ankle were negative for fracture, according to the Orange County Register's Bill Oram.
