Gasol in, Conley out for Grizzlies on Monday
Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
The Memphis Grizzlies are in a dogfight for the Southwest Division title and the Western Conference's No. 2 seed. They'll have to take on the league-leading Golden State Warriors short-handed Monday, though not as short-handed as initially feared.
Marc Gasol will suit up for the Grizzlies despite spraining his left ankle in Saturday's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, but Mike Conley, who's missed the team's last two games with a right foot sprain, will not.
Defensive stalwart Tony Allen will remain out as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury that's sidelined him for the last seven games.
Allen was ruled out for another week on April 6, leaving only Wednesday's finale as a possible regular-season return date.
