Suns' Wright out Sunday vs. Spurs, Gerald Green good to go

Mark J. Rebilas / USA TODAY Sports

With their disappointing season all but over and the playoffs out of reach, the Phoenix Suns will be down to nine healthy players for Sunday's matchup against the surging San Antonio Spurs.

Center Brandan Wright will sit out Sunday's game with a sore foot, joining the injured Brandon Knight (heel), Alex Len (nose), Marcus Thornton (ankle) and Reggie Bullock (concussion) on the sidelines.

In better news for the Suns, swingman Gerald Green will be available despite leaving the team's last game with back soreness.

The Suns enter Sunday 10th in the Western Conference at 39-41 after a surprising 48-win season last year.
