Mavs' Parsons out again Friday with knee swelling

Chandler Parsons will miss a third consecutive game when the Dallas Mavericks travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets on Friday, as the small forward remains sidelined with swelling in his right knee.
Parsons' knee first flared up during last Thursday's loss to the Houston Rockets, but X-rays came back negative.
Head coach Rick Carlisle said Wednesday that while the Mavs hope to get Parsons back on the court for one of the team's final regular-season games, there are no guarantees.
Parsons is averaging 15.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and a steal on a true shooting percentage of 56.7 in his first season in Dallas. The Mavs are 2.3 points per 100 possessions better with Parsons on the court as opposed to on the bench.
