Howard told reporters Wednesday that his knee feels good. He also noted that he'll need to improve his conditioning before the playoffs.

Analysis:

Howard continues to be brought along slowly, and he'll have his workload capped in the 24-to-26-minute range Wednesday against San Antonio. With less than two weeks until the playoffs start, he'll work toward conditioning himself to handle a much larger workload. In the Rockets' first-round series against Portland last season, Howard averaged 26.0 points, 13.7 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in nearly 39 minutes per game.
