Reno Bighorns' Dar Tucker ties D-League record with 58-point game

The Reno Bighorns, D-League affiliate to the Sacramento Kings, play a ridiculously fast-paced, 3-point-heavy style that engenders a ton of scoring.

As such, they have seven players averaging 16 points or more per game, average 133 as a team, and have already broken the D-League's record for 3-pointers in a game multiple times this season.

Perhaps it was only a matter of time before one of their players made his way into the league's record books. That player is guard Dar Tucker, who lit up the Texas Legends for 58 points on Saturday, tying the single-game record.

Tucker, a DePaul product, is in his second stint with the Bighorns after spending the last two years playing in France. Saturday was just his sixth game back with the club.

He's now averaging 32.5 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.
