Rudy Gay out again for Kings Monday night

Kelley L Cox / USA Today Sports

Rudy Gay will miss his second straight game on Monday as the Sacramento Kings face the Atlanta Hawks.

Gay is hobbled by a left patellar tendon strain, which is essentially a strained quad.

The Kings return home Monday to face the East's top team after a season-long eight-game road trip that saw them go 2-6. Gay is averaging 24.8 points per game on 50.7-percent shooting in March.

Omri Casspi will likely start again in his place.
