Suns' Len suffers another sprained ankle

Jaime Valdez / USA TODAY Sports

Phoenix Suns center Alex Len left Friday's game against the Atlanta Hawks with a right ankle sprain and did not return.

Len, who left midway through the fourth quarter, underwent X-rays on the ankle after previously tweaking it last Friday, causing him to miss a game. Results of the x-rays weren't yet known late Friday evening.

The 21-year-old is averaging 6.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in nearly 22 minutes per game for the Suns, who are also without the services of guard Brandon Knight due to a sprained ankle of his own.

Phoenix fell three games out of a playoff spot with Friday's loss.

If Len is forced to miss time, Brandan Wright should see additional time at center for the Suns.
