Mark Cuban cast as U.S. President in 'Sharknado 3'

The star of "Shark Tank" is making the jump to "Sharknado."

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban will join a terrific ensemble cast for the third installation of the world's second-greatest movie franchise, appearing as the President of the United States in "Sharknado 3."

Cuban confirmed an earlier Hollywood Reporter rumor to CBS Dallas-Fort Worth on Monday, making his office pairing with vice president Ann Coulter official. And hilarious.

The SyFy movie is due out in July of 2015 and stars Tara Reid and Ian Ziering along with rumored names like Vanilla Ice, Bo Derek and Chris Jericho.

Cuban's IMDB page lists 47 credits as a producer and 13 as an actor. Though, he hasn't had a credited role where he didn't play himself since 2006's "Like Mike 2: Streetball."
