The Houston Rockets outlasted the Cleveland Cavaliers in overtime on Sunday, but judging by the day's dominant narrative, you'd have thought James Harden outlasted LeBron James in a game of one-on-one.

In what was pitched as a duel of MVP candidates, Harden and LeBron got nasty, physical, and up close and personal. In the end, LeBron found himself at the free-throw line with four seconds left in overtime and his team down a point. He missed both (finishing 3-of-11 from the stripe for the game) and the Rockets walked away with a 105-103 win

According to the Rockets' official Twitter account, that result cemented Harden's legitimacy as the successor to  LeBron's throne.

The good news is, he already seems to have a crown picked out

Meanwhile, the purportedly deposed King spent the rest of his day taking a good long look at the man in the mirror. Asking him to change his ways.
