VIDEO: Galloway drains long-range 3 to force OT in eventual Knicks win

The Detroit Pistons may look back at Friday's loss to the New York Knicks and remember it as one of the most painful of the season.

New York overcame an 18-point deficit on the road to force overtime, before coming through with a shocking victory in double OT.

Langston Galloway nailed an improbable, long-range 3-pointer as time expired in the fourth, and the Knicks eventually pulled away with a 121-115 win in the back-and-forth affair.

Galloway sends it to OT with a clutch 3!

The Knicks won for the first time this season without Carmelo Anthony in the lineup after posting a 0-16 mark minus the eight-time All-Star. And they can thank Andrea Bargnani for that - yes, really.

Bargnani was inserted into the starting lineup for the first time this season and responded with one of his best performances in a Knicks uniform. The former No. 1 overall pick scored a team-high 25 points - on 10-of-20 shooting from the field - and added 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.

The win was just the Knicks' fourth on the road and helped the team snap an eight-game losing skid overall.

Detroit coughed up a huge lead and later wasted a number of opportunities to bury the lowly Knicks, finishing its five-game homestand on a sour note.

The Pistons, in a five-team race for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, are right back at it Saturday, taking on the reeling Washington Wizards, losers of a season-high six consecutive games

Greg Monroe led the Pistons with a 28-point, 13-rebound effort, while fellow big Andre Drummond chipped in with 21 and 15.
