VIDEO: Heat's Henry Walker plays the unlikely hero vs. Magic

Robert Mayer / USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Heat, fighting for their playoff lives with a quarter of the season remaining, found themselves down eight points with less than 40 seconds left in the fourth quarter against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday.

They were then rescued by the unlikeliest of forces.

Henry Walker, who the Heat only signed to a 10-day contract out of the D-League earlier this week, was 1-of-9 to start Wednesday's game in Orlando, which included missing all seven of his 3-point attempts.

Walker hit two threes in the final 22 seconds, however, including this late triple to send the game into overtime and visiting Heat fans into a frenzy.

The Heat went on to win the game in OT, outscoring the Magic 8-5 in an uneventful extra frame.

Walker finished with 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in only his second NBA game over the last three seasons.
