The Miami Heat have called up guard Henry Walker from Sioux Falls of the D-League, according to multiple reports.
Walker last played in the NBA with the New York Knicks in 2012, when he was known as Bill Walker. He chose to change his name in order to demonstrate more maturity, according to a 2014 article by DleagueDigest.com.
The 27-year-old was considered a lottery pick alongside college teammate Michael Beasley at Kansas State, but knee injuries dropped him into the second round of the 2008 draft.
He averaged 5.8 points per game on 47.1 percent shooting in five seasons with the Knicks and Boston Celtics.
