The third stress reaction of Bradley Beal's NBA career is apparently the least concerning one yet.

Beal missed the Washington Wizards' last three games before the All-Star break due to the stress reaction, the third one in his right fibula in as many years. While playing Friday remains unlikely, Beal has come out of the All-Star break in much better condition, according to a report from David Aldridge of NBA.com.

Annual stress reactions in the same leg are surely troubling, but the latest is the least severe Beal has suffered, according to a report from J. Michael of CSN Washington

Not only will that make his anticipated recovery time shorter - he missed eight and nine games with the last two, respectively - but the trend also won't deter the Wizards from signing Beal to an extension this offseason, Michael reports.

But Beal's status is concerning enough that Washington may ramp up its pursuit of a depth piece to fill its 15th roster spot.

The Wizards have been loosely linked to free agents like Ray Allen and Will Bynum and may have been disappointed to hear that Jameer Nelson won't be bought out. Their efforts could now swing to the trade market, where Michael reports the Wizards are willing to surrender a first-round pick if the right deal presents itself, with Arron Afflalo being the type of player who could be worth such an asset.

Real GM's Shams Charania adds that Miami Heat guard Norris Cole is another potential Wizards target.

Washington is reportedlyunwilling to take on salary that extends beyond 2016, though, ruling out a handful of veteran names on the market.
