Charles Barkley's words don't matter to DeMarcus Cousins. Only one thing matters.
"How you gonna stop God's plan?" Cousins wondered, according to ESPN.com.
On Thursday, TNT analyst Charles Barkley scoffed at reports that said the Sacramento Kings were consulting Cousins on head coaching decisions.
"That's just total bullshit," Barkley said:
Cousins was then asked about the comments and simply dismissed Barkley's words over the weekend.
"It ain't personal," Cousins told Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN. "I mean, I don't really respect the guy, but at the same time, I don't really care what he thinks either."
Barkley's point was that Cousins' star wasn't bright enough to merit such high esteem in the Kings' braintrust.
