Lakers' Nick Young suffers injury in Wednesday's loss

The All-Star break couldn't have come at a better time for Los Angeles Lakers swingman Nick Young.
Young suffered a left peroneal tendon strain during Wednesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers, leaving the game at the end of the third quarter without returning.
According to the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgerons, the peroneal tendon stabilizes the ankle and prevents it from sprains.
Luckily for Young, who thinks the injury will heal over the All-Star break, the Lakers don't play again until Feb. 20 thanks to this year's prolonged break.
Young is averaging 13.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and an assist in nearly 24 minutes per game for the 13-40 Lakers.
