Clippers' Jordan grabs 27 rebounds in rout of Mavericks

Matthew Emmons / USA TODAY Sports

DeAndre Jordan had never recorded a 20-point, 20-rebound performance through his first 481 career games. He now has two in his last five after a dominant 22-point, 27-rebound outing in a 115-98 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.

The 27 rebounds are an NBA season-high and a career-high for Jordan, who also had three blocks and a steal to help the Los Angeles Clippers snap a four-game losing streak.

The Clippers jumped out to a 13-5 lead in the game's opening minutes and never looked back against a depleted Mavericks team that lost Tyson Chandler and Monta Ellis to first quarter injuries.

Rajon Rondo also remains out for the Mavericks.

Chris Paul poured in 25 points, 13 assists, six rebounds and two steals for the Clippers, while Jamal Crawford added 22 points off the bench for the Clippers, albeit on 9-of-24 shooting.

The Mavs were surprisingly led by Charlie Villanueva, who exploded for 26 points off the bench on 9-of-13 shooting in a losing effort. Chandler Parsons recorded a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds for Dallas.
