Clippers' Glen Davis leaves game vs. Thunder with back spasms, won't return

Jayne Kamin-Oncea / USA Today Sports

The Los Angeles Clippers were already thinned out up front, with Blake Griffin out indefinitely due to a staph infection in his elbow.

Glen Davis was one of the reserve bigs the Clippers needed to help patch up the hole in their frontcourt, but that's no longer an option, at least not for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder

Davis was hit with upper back spasms in the second quarter of the contest, and had to be helped to the locker room.

He will not return.
