Wall will play Wednesday despite sore Achilles

John Wall of the Washington Wizards will play Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns. Wall had been a game-time call for the second straight night as he deals with Achilles soreness.

Wall played through the issue in Los Angeles Tuesday, scoring 21 points and adding 13 assists in a 98-92 win over the Lakers. Wall also came up one rebound shy of a triple-double.

After the second half of a back-to-back Wednesday in Phoenix against the Suns, the Wiz close out their Western road swing and return home Saturday to face the Toronto Raptors.
