For nearly 10 seasons, Luol Deng epitomized what it meant to be a member of the Chicago Bulls.

Deng logged over 22,000 minutes in Chicago as he cemented the small forward position. He ranked among the league-leaders in minutes played and played shutdown defense in addition to chipping in as a third option wing scorer. He also helped the Bulls to six playoff appearances.

On Sunday, Deng finally made his return to the United Center in Chicago. The Bulls honored Deng with a tribute video (shown below) as the Bulls faithful gave Deng a rousing standing ovation.

Deng and the Miami Heat went on to beat the Bulls by a score of 96-84. Deng scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

After the game, Deng spoke to reporters about the win.

"I didn’t get a chance to see it," Deng said, as relayed by Sean Highkin of ProBasketballTalk. "I got to hear it playing and I didn't want to look up because I knew I would get emotional. I just kind of looked at what play we were going to be running."

Deng also took to Instagram to show his appreciation to Bulls fans.
