The Boston Celtics delivered a surprising victory over the Portland Trail Blazers Thursday night, but lost center Kelly Olynyk to injury in the process.

Olynyk left the game in the fourth quarter under his own power after landing on the foot of Blazers forward Thomas Robinson, but did not return.

Head coach Brad Stevens updated his condition after the game.

The Celtics play Friday in Denver and Sunday at Golden State.

On the season, Olynyk came into Thursday's action averaging 11.3 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per contest.
