VIDEO: LeBron challenged to enter Dunk Contest for charity

Well, this is a pretty cold way to try to get LeBron James in the Slam Dunk Contest.

Looking to get the league's top star in the contest for the first time, a challenge has been laid before James: The world will pledge to donate money to The Boys & Girls Clubs of America - James' favorite charity - and they'll get the money if James participates. If he doesn't, they won't, even though it's been pledged.

That much is mostly just a creative means to try to coax James, but the means by which the challenge was laid out are quite cruel. In a video posted Tuesday, a child takes jabs at James' shooting, team performance and hairline, pointing out that greats like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Chris Andersen have participated but James hasn't.

It will be interesting to see how much money the cause can raise, and if it will be enough for James to get in the mix with Giannis Antetokounmpo and company at NBA All-Star Weekend.
