Hawks' Horford records triple-double in win over 76ers

As is his wont, Grantland's Zach Lowe proved prophetic.

On the same day that Lowe published an article praising Atlanta Hawks center Al Horford's all-around brilliance, Horford recorded a triple-double against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Winners of 22 of their last 24, the Hawks felt confident in their chances against the struggling 76ers and rested three members of their starting five. That opened the door for more touches for Horford, who came through brilliantly.

Horford finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists on 8-of-10 shooting in just 29 minutes. Operating out of the high post and on pick-and-rolls, Horford routinely pillaged the Sixers' defense to find himself and his teammates for open looks.

Thanks to Horford's output, the Hawks managed their ninth-consecutive win and improve to 23-2 over their last 25 games.
