DeMar DeRozan: (Groin) Won't Play Monday

DeRozan (groin) will not play Monday against Detroit, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.

Analysis:

DeRozan said late last week that he anticipates returning to action sometime this week, but it won't be Monday. James Johnson will continue to start in DeRozan's place, and the All-Star's next opportunity to take the floor will come Wednesday versus Philadelphia. DeRozan has not played since Nov. 28.
