Lakers forward Julius Randle to have surgery on his foot

Julius Randle is making sure he's completely healthy now that there's no chance he returns this season.
The Los Angeles Lakers power forward will undergo surgery Tuesday to replace the screw in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, according to a team statement released Sunday.
Randle's season was already a lost cause after he broke his leg in his NBA debut Oct. 28 against the Houston Rockets.
The 20-year-old used the Lakers' game Sunday against Indiana to ask the Pacers' recovering star Paul George for some advice.
