Jason Kidd says Larry Sanders will be out indefinitely due to personal reasons
Larry Sanders may not be seeing the court for the Milwaukee Bucks any time soon.
After missing a game due to suspension - for a mid-air shove on Blazers forward Nicolas Batum - and then four more because of a viral illness, the fifth-year center is now being listed by coach Jason Kidd as being out for "personal reasons," with no timetable for a return, according to C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Kidd added that Sanders has not been taking part in any team activities.
"It's just personal," he said. "There's nothing I can give you more. That's the way the question will be answered."
Kidd also didn't seem overly concerned about how his team would fare in Sanders' absence, saying: "Guys go on as you see. Charlotte we played without him; the other night we played without him. The train keeps moving forward."
Indeed, the Bucks have gone 4-1 in the games Sanders has missed, with Zaza Pachulia and John Henson both stepping in admirably at the five-spot.
Kidd's vague and dismissive explanation of the situation has also led some to draw comparisons to the way he addressed a rift between him and Andray Blatche when he was coaching the Brooklyn Nets last season.
