Pacers' Stuckey leaves game vs. Pistons with facial contusion
Tim Fuller / USA Today Sports
Rodney Stuckey has amassed injuries of just about every sort this season, and he added another notch to his belt Friday night.
The Indiana Pacers shooting guard was hit in the face on a drive to the hoop by Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond in the third quarter and had to be helped to the locker room by a trainer.
He was later diagnosed with a facial contusion, and will not return.
Stuckey, who has already missed time with foot, ankle and wrist injuries this season, has been one of the Pacers' most productive rotation guys when healthy. He leads the team in points per minute, and averages 16.8 per 36.
