Nets' Williams out Sunday vs. Pistons

The Brooklyn Nets will play shorthanded Sunday when they take on the Detroit Pistons, as point guard Deron Williams will not play, Tim Bontemps of the New York Daily Post reports.

Williams has a calf strain which he suffered Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Backup point guard Jarrett Jack will start in his place.

Williams is averaging 15.6 points and 6.8 assists in 34.5 minutes per game.
