Durant has scoring streak snapped in win over 76ers

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Kevin Durant couldn't get it going against the lowly Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night, scoring 10 points on 3-of-11 shooting in 29 minutes. It didn't matter for the Oklahoma City Thunder, as they dropped Philadelphia, 103-91, winning for the third time in four games.

Durant, however, had his 390-game streak of scoring more than 10 points snapped in the victory. It marked the first time since April 13, 2009 that the Thunder's superstar scored 10 or fewer points.

LeBron James has scored more than 10 points in 543 straight games, the longest such streak in the NBA.

Thunder head coach Scott Brooks has been true to his word about keeping Durant on a minutes restriction as he eases his way back from a fractured right foot. Durant logged 30 minutes in his first game of the season Tuesday, scoring 27 points in a loss to the New Orleans Pelicans
