Nikola Pekovic's wrist injury is more than a pain for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and, according to head coach Flip Saunders, it will keep the center out at least another 10 days.
Pekovic has missed eight straight games as of Thursday. Saunders, in addition to updating the status of point guard Ricky Rubio, said center Ronny Turiaf is also unlikely to return for another 10 days.
Shooting guard Kevin Martin, like Rubio, isn't expected back until sometime in January.
