Dirk Nowitzki: (Rest) Out Wednesday

Nowitzki (rest) will not play Wednesday, the Star-Telegram's Dwain Price reports.

Analysis:

He suffered a minor back injury Tuesday night, but the team downplayed it, and there's certainly a chance this is strictly for rest as it is the second night of a back-to-back. Look for Brandan Wright and Al-Farouq Aminu to see extra minutes Wednesday. He should be back in the lineup Friday against the Suns.
