DeMarcus Cousins: (Viral Infection) Out Through The Weekend

Cousins has a viral infection and has been ruled out through the weekend, the Sacramento Bee's Jason Jones reports.

Analysis:

He was admitted to the hospital for evaluation after being a late scratch for Tuesday's game. This is really tough news for those who own Cousins, as he was likely widely started in weekly formats. Come Monday, he will have missed five games with the viral infection, and it should not be assumed that he will be ready to take the court next week until we hear positive news about his health. Meanwhile Reggie Evans saw 32 minutes Tuesday, as the Kings opted for a really small lineup for much of the night, with Rudy Gay acting as the power forward and just one true big man being on the court.
