Spurs' Duncan, Parker return to lineup vs. Nets

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Tim Duncan and Tony Parker will be back in the San Antonio Spurs' lineup when the defending champs take on the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday, head coach Gregg Popovich said.

Popovich sat both players against the winless Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, although Parker was also dealing with sore ribs stemming from an injury during a weekend practice.

Duncan is averaging 14 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.1 blocks in 15 games so far this season. Parker is averaging 17.3 points, 5.7 assists and 1.9 rebounds, while shooting a ridiculous 66 percent from 3-point territory through 16 games.

The Spurs enter Wednesday's game in Brooklyn with a 13-4 record.
