Russell Westbrook: (Hand) Practices, Takes Some Contact

Westbrook (hand) participated in most of Monday's practice, including some of the contact drills, the Oklahoman's Anthony Slater reports.

Analysis:

This is the first time Westbrook has taken part in the contact portion of practice, which is a significant step forward. Westbrook has beat timetables of previous injuries, so it would not be a surprise to see him return to game action in the near future. Meanwhile, Reggie Jackson is having an amazing season as the starter, and is a must-start until Westbrook returns.
