Jordan Brand to present 5-minute sketch comedy show featuring Blake Griffin and Chris Paul
Blake Griffin has a growing reputation as a part-time actor and funnyman. Chris Paul puts out a no-nonsense vibe, and generally plays it straight, even in his commercials.
A serious straight man and a slapstick goof? Sounds like a perfect comedy pairing.
That's what Jordan Brand thinks, and they'll be presenting a five-minute sketch comedy show featuring the Los Angeles Clippers teammates this season. The episodes will air on Adult Swim at 12:12 a.m. on Oct. 24 and Oct. 31, and will also be posted online to the brand's YouTube page.
The show appears set to promote the new Jordan Super.Fly 3 and the Jordan CP3. VIII, the respective shoes of Griffin and Paul.
Poor DeAndre Jordan. Another Clippers comedian, with the last name Jordan no less, stuck over on the Nike side of the brand ledger.
