The Los Angeles Lakers are likely in for a second-straight losing season. Although aging stars like Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash should return to health, the Lakers simply don't have enough talent to cobble together a playoff squad in the Western Conference.
Case in point: the Lakers will most likely struggle on defense. With Nash and Bryant in their early fourties and late thirties, and without a defensive anchor in the paint, the Lakers' defense is likely to be eviscerated on a nightly basis. That might force them to getting creative.
What does defensive creativity look like? Here's point guard Ronnie Price casting his shoe aside in hopes of a steal.
