Holiday said Monday that he is likely to be limited during training camp, Jimmy Smith of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Analysis:

Holiday continues to recover from the tibial stress fracture that cut his 2013-14 season short in January. He began five-on-five workouts more than two weeks ago but has not progressed to the point that he's ready for full contact. Holiday estimated that he's about 70 percent heading into camp, so it's reasonable to expect that he'll be limited during the preseason as well. Barring a setback, however, Holiday should be ready to open the regular season as the Pelicans' starting point guard.
