Analysis:

Shumpert suffered a torn ACL in the playoffs two seasons ago and was still hampered by the injury last season. He shot just a hair over 50 percent at the rim and seemed to lack some of the explosiveness he possessed in the past. Now fully healthy, Shumpert said he hopes to get to the rim more quickly this season.
