Andrei Kirilenko to miss 7-to-10 days with back tightness

Soobum Im / USA Today Sports

The Brooklyn Nets caught the injury bug early this season. Utility man Andrei Kirilenko will miss seven to 10 days with back tightness, as relayed by Nets Daily.

Kirilenko was limited to just 45 games played last season due to an assortment of nagging injuries. He averaged five points and 3.2 rebounds per game while looking noticeably slowed by injury woes.

With Paul Pierce's departure in the offseason, the Nets are counting on Kirilenko to play a larger part in the wing rotation. When healthy, Kirilenko is a smart defender who makes excellent cuts and business decisions.
