Lopez will likely only practice once a day during training camp, the New York Post's Tim Bontemps reports.
Analysis:
He will practice in the evening session Saturday, which will be one hour long and will be of the non-contact variety. The Nets are understandably being very careful with Lopez, but the expectation is that the training wheels will come off to some extent once the regular season begins. Coach Lionel Hollins always rode Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph pretty hard in Memphis, and although Mason Plumlee might be one of the team's best players, Lopez is undoubtedly the Nets' best player when healthy, so Hollins will likely ride him as much as possible.
