VIDEO: James Harden challenges the internet to a game of HORSE
The latest viral move from Foot Locker and Houston Rockets star James Harden has the gifted scorer challenging the entire internet to a game of HORSE.
"I hereby challenge you, the internet, to a game of HORSE," Harden says in the video before directing fans how to submit their shots for the challenge.
Harden's an interesting selection for such a challenge, considering how effective an offensive player he is. Kevin Durant, the two-time winner of the now-defunct All-Star Weekend HORSE competition, would have been the obvious choice to lay down the gauntlet to fans, but Harden's certainly a top choice, too.
The video directs viewers to HorseWithHarden.com, which redirects to a Foot Locker page explaining the rules and showing some of the best shots submitted so far. If you want to participate, you have to take a safe shot on a regulation net and post a family-friendly video that's 30 seconds or less, using the competition's #HorseWithHarden hashtag.
It's really unfortunate that defense isn't a part of HORSE, because those jokes write themselves.
