Stauskas could receive a relatively good amount of playing time to start the year as coach Michael Malone has said that Stauskas and Ben McLemore can play alongside each other, the Kings' official website reports. "What I've seen is that Ben and Nik can play together without any problem. They both have a pretty good understanding of the game and they play well off of each other," Malone said.

Analysis:

Stauskas was drafted eighth overall in this year's draft out of the University of Michigan where he scored 17.5 points per game and had a 47-percent field goal percentage last season. While Stauskas is recognized for his stellar three-point shooting, his ability to drive to the basket, distribute the ball to his teammates, and create shots in traffic remains an underrated part of his game.
