Analysis:

Richardson missed all of the 2013-14 season after suffering a series of setbacks in his recovery from left knee surgery. In fact, Richardson last played an NBA game in January of 2013. The 76ers will need to cut several players to get down to a 15-man roster after they acquired four incoming rookies in June's draft, as well as Alexey Shved and Luc Mbah a Moute in the two-for-one Thaddeus Young trade. Fantasy owners should prefer that Richardson be bought out, because that would add some amount of clarity to the 76ers depth chart. If Richardson makes the final cut, it would add confusion to the valuations of Shved, KJ McDaniels, and Hollis Thompson.
