The Utah Jazz know they'll be a little short on star talent this season, so they're looking to find a hidden gem by putting two roster spots up for grabs come training camp.

"The last roster spot will more than likely, unless something unusual comes up, we’ll keep that open for competition. And maybe the 14th spot," Jazz general manager Dennis Lindsey told Aaron Falk of the Salt Lake Tribune. "We’ll create an atmosphere of competition. We think that’s a good thing."

The Jazz currently have 13 players inked to guaranteed deals for the upcoming season, so the competition will include unguaranteed players like Jack Cooley, Dee Bost and Ian Clark.
