Report: Suns make last-ditch effort to deal Bledsoe to T-Wolves for Love
The Phoenix Suns have reportedly proposed a deal in an attempt to railroad a three-team deal between the Cleveland Cavaliers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers just hours before it is expected to be finalized.
Brian Windhorst and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN are reporting that the Suns reached out to the Timberwolves on Thursday to see if they have any interest acquiring guard Eric Bledsoe through a sign-and-trade for Kevin Love.
Phoenix is attempting to deal the restricted free agent after negotiations hit a standstill following Bledsoe's desire to land a deal in the neighborhood of five years, $85 million – the Suns offer was four years, $48 million.
Love, a three-time All-Star, is expected to be dealt to the Cavaliers at 12:01 EDT Saturday morning when the deal can be made official.
