Clearly someone is lying in all of this.
Detroit Pistons power forward Greg Monroe is locked in a stalemate with the team in contract negotiations, as the restricted free-agent still has yet to reach a resolution about his future.
Reports indicated that the Pistons had first offered Monroe a 5-year deal worth $60 million before topping it with something similar to 4-years, $54 million. However, Monroe is now denying both reports.
"@millerfootball5: Come on @M10OSE how can you reject a 5 year 60 million deal" < cant reject anything that was not offered to me...carry on

@IamSimonHanna wasnt offered that either...

Regardless of what's true or not, the only thing that's clear is that the situation with Monroe won't be coming to an end any time soon. At least Monroe has the support of Pistons owner Tom Gores.
Enjoy the offseason!
