Joakim Noah is 'happy for LeBron,' but hopes the Bulls 'can kick his ass as many times as possible'
As it stands, this season's Eastern Conference finals could very well feature the Chicago Bulls against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Of course, rosters are still being assembled, but few would argue that the two franchises aren't shaping up to be two of the strongest in the East.
Well aware of the possibility, Noah took the chance on Friday to jump-start the developing rivalry by letting the world know what he thinks of LeBron James returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
"I'm happy for LeBron James," Noah said. "He gets to go home. People are happy over there. But I really hope that we can kick his ass as many times as possible."
Ironically, Noah's comments came while promoting non-violence at a public service announcement unveiled by his Noah's Arc Foundation, which is "dedicated to helping children develop a stronger sense of self" and is currently urging Chicagoans to stand up to street violence as the city continues to deal with high levels of violent crime.
