Bayless is close to signing a two-year deal with the Bucks worth around $6.5 million, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Charles Gardner reports.

Analysis:

In 41 games with the Celtics last season, Bayless averaged 10.1 points, 3.1 assists, one steal and 1.2 three-pointers in 25.3 minutes per game. He will add backcourt depth to the Bucks, and can play the one or the two. Bayless will probably come off the bench, as Brandon Knight and Giannis Antetokounmpo figure to be the starting guards, with O.J. Mayo and Nate Wolters also figuring prominently into things.
