Pau Gasol: Will Sign With Chicago

Gasol will sign with the Chicago Bulls, per his personal Twitter account.

Analysis:

Gasol was courted by the Spurs, Lakers and Thunder, among others, but he'll head to Chicago to team with Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson to form one of the more potent frontcourts in the Eastern Conference. While the 34-year-old's best days are behind him, he's still an extremely talented offensive center, and playing in coach Tom Thibodeau's system should mask his defensive deficiencies. In 60 games for the Lakers last season, Gasol averaged 17.4 points and 9.7 rebounds while shooting 48.0 percent from the field.
